Weekend away in Victoria, BC...

Image
So my friend Ashley and I both had 7 days off at the same time and she had never been to Victoria, BC before. I hadn't been in almost 15 years. So, over to Sequim we went for one night, then walked on the ferry for an overnight trip. The weather wasn't fabulous but we had a great weekend. Victoria is an extremely walkable city and we managed to fit in a trip to Butchart Gardens, afternoon tea at the Empress and lots of food and walking. All in all, an excellent trip!

Just another day at sea for Gav and his crew.....

Gav compiled a short video that sums up a very scary 90 minutes they had while entering the Straits of Gibraltar last week. All across the Atlantic they had great weather for the time of year....until this... They pulled in and anchored up in Gibraltar for 36 hours waiting on clearer weather. They are now safely in Palma de Mallorca for the next few months.

Spring has sprung in Sequim....
